This one was spinning and obviously I didn't snap the pic at a very good time, but it's a giant octopus with a bunch of other animals and what not all mingled in it's tentacles.

Ruby was obviously loving it!

This was a "tree of knowledge" so to speak as the limbs were all made of encyclopedia pages:

I liked this one because even though I'm only the mother of one I am already feeling what it's like to juggle being a wife, a mother, primary chorister, a visiting teacher, a sister, a daughter, a friend, etc... It made me think about all that women today have to manage while still staying on their feet! I have MANY friends who AMAZE me with what they are able to juggle. You ladies are incredible!

There were also some pretty strange pieces that I wish I had gotten pictures of :) One of my favorites was a piece of wood in the shape of a seal that had barbie arms and legs sticking out of it and kayak paddles acting as tail and fins. Wow. It was very bizarre, but also fun to look at and I don't claim to be an art critic of ANY kind so who am I to judge.
I also saw a neat exhibit about birth. It was photographs of a variety of different women at different stages of childbirth. There were home births, C-sections, and hospital vaginal deliveries. Some people expressed fear, sorrow, disappointment, exhaustion, and surprise - but the end result was always joy and a new beautiful baby. Did I cry? you betcha!
