On December 1st (aka - Preston's birthday) we drove out to our favorite tree farm to kick off the Christmas season! It was a perfect day - chilly, sunny, with snow on the ground. Ruby LOVED the whole ordeal! Preston would have liked a better saw and some snow pants - but in the end he was victorious and we loaded up the best tree on the lot!
They shook and wrapped it for us and with a little finagling we got it into the back of our car. Before we left we hit up the Christmas barn for some fresh popcorn and hot cider.

Everytime I see an awesome picture of Ruby I think there can't possibly be a cuter one, but that first picture has done it again. Love that smile.

Home Depot didn't have cider and popcorn. Dang them. I guess we need to find a cool place like that to get our tree next year.
