We drove down to Texas for Christmas. I was a little nervous as Ruby has become more mobile lately and is less content in her carseat, but she travelled amazingly well! Texas was great. We looked at some houses, watched movies, played games, made gingerbread houses, and opened presents. It was wonderful to spend so much time together as a family!
We made a michigan/BYU house that included NO RED (as both our rivals are red). Preston fought me on this the whole time and snuck in some red and white mints at the end! Stinker.
Our attempt at a snowman...we kept adding marshmallows and it kept getting worse...

These trees wouldn't stand up so I suggested we leave 'em down and add a guy with a chainsaw!

Angie cannot be distracted from her flawless swoopy roof while Doug offers us some treats!

Amber rockin it like she does.

Ruby enjoys some time with grandmama

Ruby gets some texas wear!

We returned home to spend new years with all of my family. Highlights include the "casey surprise," double eats on new years eve, seeing old footage of my dad crawling, chuck e cheese, michigan winning, and poison cookie.

There is nothing better than being with family, eating delicious food, and celebrating the birth of our Savior. yeah for december!

love the chainsaw guy, the "what a face" pic is awesome. I already miss Ruby waving hello to everyone after waking up from a nap.
So Connie told me I should blog-stalk you guys...which is sort of creepy...but I do it anyway. I think I just laughed out loud for 5 minutes straight at the snowman and chainsaw guy. They are AWESOME. Also, Ruby is so dang cute in every picture!
